Nathan and Sarahs Wedding video filmed at Grangefields, Derby.
The day started at a small air B&B nearby to the venue. The bridal party and the father of the bride all got ready here accompanied by surrounding fields of sheep which made for some great getting ready shots. It was here I met wedding photographer Mark Wallace who I worked closely with throughout the day to get all the best content of the day for the couple. The bridal party was picked up from the cottage in a beautiful shiny Rolls-Royce and taken down some beautiful scenic roads to the venue Grangefields.
Nathan and Sarahs wedding day took place in the beautiful Grangefields, In Derby. This is a new wedding venue in the countryside just outside of Derby. This was a first time for me shooting at this venue and I can gladly say it's one of my favourites already. It's a beautiful Barn conversion with the best of two styles. The ceremony was held in a beautifully lit hall with amazing decor. As it was a summer wedding the ceremony was followed by an outdoor drinks ceremony. The grounds were simply stunning with outdoor games dotted around for the guests to enjoy with their drinks. Also brilliant background music for people to mingle to played by Brad Matthews who the couple hired externally from the venue. Grangefields also have a lovely and modern style glass dining room with big windows letting in lots of natural light and also windows through to a really nice looking kitchen where meat can be seen cooking on the grills. On this occasion the venue provided amazing vegetarian food as they didn't want meat on the menu at their wedding. Their choice of food was amazing and Grangefields did a brilliant job at serving it. The end of the day brought guests in to a hall connected to the ceremony hall where guests danced the night away to an amazing cover band and could also access the courtyard again for some amazing sparkler shots to send the happy couple off into married life together.
