Kirsty & Jamies Wedding video
filmed at Halsey Hall, Cheshunt

Have a read if you'd like to know how the project worked out.

When I think October, I automatically think cold and rainy weather you get at the end of the summer. Not on this day though, Kirsty and Jamie could not have picked a nicer wedding day at the end of the summer. The sun was shining down on the town of chestnut which really added to the vibe of their big day. The morning of this wedding couldn't have been made any more stressful for Kirsty and her brides party. As I pulled up to the hotel where Kirsty was getting ready I saw a congregation of fire engines in the engines which I thought was very odd. When I called up the bridesmaid in charge of arranging people she mentioned that the chemicals for the pool had been mixed and resulted in chlorine gas. This meant that when I arrived the bridal prep was happening outside on a small group of picnic benches surrounded by firemen. I think personally after the stress was all over it was actually quite good for the video as it made the bride prep unique compared to any other wedding videos I have made. Eventually we were able to go back in to Finnish the last bits of preparation before heading over to the church. St Mary the Virgin Church is a beautiful medieval church located in the town of Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England. The church dates back to the 12th century, although much of the current structure was built in the 15th century. The church has a striking appearance, with a tall and impressive tower that dominates the local skyline. The ceremony went really well with lots of places I could hide so I wasn't always picked up by my B-Cam. From the church the couple were driven off to 'Halsey Hall' in a classic car and arrived to a garden full of guests. The venue was really nice with really nice hosts too. Due to it being a post summer wedding the photos were done inside the venue in front of a flowery wall. The decoration at the venue was really good with personalised signs everywhere and little shots in jars on each place at the tables. Kirsty and Jamie were such a pleasure to work with, even though the beginning of the day was super stressful they dealt with it so well and let me get on and still make a high quality for them despite the last minute problem solving.
