Kim and Shane Wedding

Have a read if you'd like to know how the project worked out.

In the countryside neighbouring Royston in Hertfordshire lies the beautiful wedding venue and working farm 'South Farm'. South Farm is a stunning and picturesque wedding venue located in Royston, a small town in the county of Hertfordshire, England. This unique and charming venue offers a range of facilities and services that make it the perfect location for a rustic and romantic wedding. The venue is set amidst 20 acres of beautiful countryside, including gardens, meadows, and woodland, providing a tranquil and idyllic setting for your special day. The farm features a range of beautiful and distinctive spaces, including a Tudor barn, a stylish lounge bar, a charming courtyard, and an impressive farmhouse. The day started in the bridal suite where the bridal prep was in full flow. This shoot was made a treat because of how calm and relaxed Kim was. She was happy with me to get on with shooting and had full faith in the video I would produced. She was also very stress free which gave the video a nice relaxed vibe which I think worked really nicely. Shane arrived a little bit later with their son and the grooms party. This is when I got set up and ready to shoot the ceremony in the glass roofed barn at the far side of the stunning venue. After the ceremony the photographer John Thompson took the couple and the guests out to the front of the yellow and blue house for the confetti shot. It was really cinematic as they walked out the door together hand in hand and walked down a path bordered by their guests. From here the guests were taken back to the ceremony hall which had been converted for the drinks ceremony and I took the couple away with John and did some couple shots in the grounds. It was very cold being a January wedding so there wasn't a great amount of shots but the sun did look stunning as it went down behind the farm which made for some amazing shots. The reception was brilliant! A dance floor in the barn with a glass dance floor with lights coming up from beneath the floor and lots of guests on the dance floor making the whole night a brilliant vibe. It always makes the video a hundred times better when you have a dance floor full of party animals! The last shot was the sparklers in the court yard which looked really nice with the house in the background! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend couples to book their wedding at South Farm. The staff were very helpful and kind and the facilities they have on offer there are just amazing.
