Ben and Valentina Wedding
Have a read if you'd like to know how the project worked out.
From the moment I stepped into Valentina’s family home in Enfield for the morning prep, I knew this day was going to be something special. There was a real warmth in the air — laughter, nerves, and a palpable sense of excitement. The soft natural light streaming into the room set the perfect tone for the start of the story. Valentina looked stunning as she got ready, surrounded by her closest family and friends.
Once everyone was set, we made our way to the iconic Marylebone Town Hall, a venue I’d never shot at before but had always admired from afar. It did not disappoint — full of timeless elegance and character, the ceremony room was a dream to film in. The gentle sounds of a live harpist added such a beautiful layer of emotion as Ben waited to see Valentina walk down the aisle.
Working alongside Photos by Rachel Wood and Waterhouse Photography was a joy — they captured the day effortlessly, and it was clear we were all in sync. Teamwork really makes the magic happen, and they absolutely smashed it.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebrations moved just down the road to The Larrik, a cosy London pub that had been transformed into an intimate reception space. Pastel pink touches brought a soft and romantic feel to the décor — simple but so effective. Guests were greeted with mini burgers as part of a brilliant canapé spread (definitely one of the most popular welcome bites I’ve seen in a while!) before settling down to a traditional roast lunch that felt like a proper celebration.
From start to finish, Ben & Valentina’s day was a perfect blend of classic London charm and relaxed, personal touches. Capturing those little moments — the glances, the hugs, the belly laughs — was a real honour.
